Mount Cameron is the second peak of the Decalibron loop. It's technically not an officially ranked 14er due to insufficient prominence from Mount Lincoln, but climbers routinely summit it as part of the four-peak day.
Standard Route
Cameron is reached by traversing the broad ridge from Mount Democrat. From the Democrat-Cameron saddle, climb the easy north slope to Cameron's broad summit, then continue south to Mount Lincoln.
What to Expect
The ridge between Democrat and Cameron is exposed and high — if a storm is building, descend back to Kite Lake rather than pushing on. Cameron's summit is a featureless plateau; the actual highest point is marked by a small cairn.
